This is the true story of The Lively Seven

Wants YOU!
When the United Steelworkers of America (USWA) set their sights on unionizing a group of employees, you just know that some bad things could happen to some very good people - and that's exactly what happened to The Lively Seven, seven female banking industry employees in Northern Ontario who fought against the forced unionization of their workplace.
In September 2007, The Lively Seven lost their two-and-a-half year battle against the Union and the labour board, but in many ways the fight for employee rights and updated labour laws in Canada has just begun. The Lively Seven's efforts have made Canadians, the national media and all employees aware of:
- 1) The realities of dealing with unions that don't respect, let alone advocate, the rights of their own employees.
- 2) Faults inherent to the unionization process before labour boards. The CIRB's bureaucracy needs change and the entire process requires oversight and accountability.
